DONUTMODDED← Back to libraryDonutSMP Farm Building and Schematics Guide
Farm building on DonutSMP often involves planning a layout, gathering materials, and testing production. Kelp, bone-meal and spawner farms are common community topics, but server mechanics and item prices can change. Check current in-game information before spending resources.
Plan before you build
- Pick a design that matches the Minecraft and server versions you use. Check its creator’s instructions and build footprint.
- Estimate materials and running costs. A kelp setup may need a bone-meal supply and processing capacity; compare actual input and output costs.
- Choose a site with enough room for construction and storage. Be careful about sharing coordinates or granting access to your base.
- Test a smaller section and measure actual output rather than relying on old profit figures.
Using Litematica for farm schematics
Litematica for Minecraft Java can show a schematic preview and material list. Put a creator’s .litematic file in your instance’s schematics folder, load it in Litematica, and follow it while placing blocks manually.
DonutSMP prohibits auto and easy-place features under its published terms. Turn off automated placement and confirm current rules before using any tool. The official terms take precedence over this guide.
Farm types to research
Kelp and bone meal: Consider supply, processing, and storage together. Spawner farms: Check the current server-specific behavior and test output. Cobblestone, basalt and wood: Compare building cost and current demand before choosing a design.
